Workshop Title: The Dramatic Construction of Process- and Outcome-Oriented Life Experiences
Duration: 3 Hours
Description: This workshop takes inspiration from lived experiences in designing dramatic constructions. As we journey through our roles—both those we are aware of and those hidden within our daily lives—we often find ourselves lost in experiences, believing we are process-oriented while in reality focusing on outcomes. Within this tension, we continue to perform and sustain our life stories.
In this workshop, participants will explore critical questions: Who writes, acts, and directs the narrative of our lives? What variables shape the direction of our experiences? Through the method of creative drama, participants will engage with alternative scenarios, broadening their perspectives on the interplay of process and result.
The workshop aims to foster awareness of process- and outcome-oriented approaches in life, to discuss the balance between them, and to reflect on how these orientations influence our lived realities. By critically examining our own experiences through dramatic construction, participants will have the opportunity to develop fresh insights and reframe their understanding of the roles they inhabit.
