Sinan Işık is a creative drama instructor, theatre director, and experience designer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Uludağ University. In 2012, he was certified as a creative drama instructor after completing the 320-hour Creative Drama Leadership/Instructorship program, approved by the Ministry of National Education (MEB) and offered by the Contemporary Drama Association. Since then, he has been designing and conducting creative drama-based training and experience programs.
As a creative drama instructor and education coordinator, he works at the museums affiliated with the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, where he is responsible for creating guidance scenarios, structuring all educational plans, and designing experiences for museum visitors. He conducts national and international projects using creative drama in museums, schools, and cultural institutions. He leads numerous creative theatre projects with young people and adults. He is the Co-Representative for the Contemporary Drama Association in Bursa and provides trainer education at the association.
He has worked on and directed plays in various theatre forms such as Epic Theatre, Interactive Theatre, Playback Theatre, Pantomime, Documentary Theatre, Forum Theatre, Theatre Sports, Museum Theatre, Theatre of the Oppressed, and Devised Theatre.
Since 2016, he has been working theoretically and practically on Experience Theatre within the company he co-founded, “tiyatroan,” where he also writes and directs theatre plays. Through these works, he aims to support the individual transformation and collective creativity of participants by creating discovery-based learning environments.
