Born in Trabzon in 1976, Algül Kalay İnce graduated from the Primary School Teaching Program at Marmara University in 1997. Following her graduation, she worked as a primary school teacher in Istanbul and Antalya.
In 2006, she completed the Creative Drama Trainer/Leader program with her project titled “Chess Education at the Beginner Level through the Creative Drama Method.” That same year, she began working as a creative drama trainer at the Antalya branch of the Contemporary Drama Association.
She received her master’s degree in 2013 from Akdeniz University, Institute of Educational Sciences, Department of Primary Education, with her thesis on “The Effects of a Rhythm-Based Music Teaching Program on Students’ Flow Experiences and Attitudes toward Music Lessons.”
She has conducted numerous creative drama workshops and seminars for children and adults and has taken part in various projects as a creative drama trainer. For two and a half years, she authored the column “Şah-Mat” for TÜBİTAK’s Science and Children magazine. She is also the author of the book “You’ve Got Mail from the Red Sphere: A Process Drama Experiment.”
Since 2014, she has been serving both as the Antalya Representative of the Contemporary Drama Association and as a primary school teacher and creative drama trainer at Antalya Hakkı Tatoğlu Primary School.
